This CD has class written all over it: it's made by someone called Shitmat, all the tracks bar one have Babylon in their names and all bar one feature the same jungle MC sample. The basic concept is to take a load of old pop songs, add some nasty breakcore beats and layer a sample over it. Oh man, is this good! We've been going on and on about drum and bass, the amen break, all that late nineties jungle, and how we can never get enough. Well, we can't. Anybody that heard the limited 7â single Shitmat did last year will I am sure be eager to check this record out. The 7â was proper fucking good dirty ragga jungle.
